The Wyss Foundation and its chairman, Hansjörg Wyss, have announced a gift of $10,000 to the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, a conservation organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Field Institute, or RMFI, is dedicated to the stewardship and restoration of public lands across southern Colorado. RMFI’s public lands stewardship efforts involve completing high-quality trail and restoration projects – with community volunteers, youth conservation corps crews, and RMFI's own Stewardship Crew – informed by the organization’s 40 years of experience working in and restoring sensitive high-elevation and desert environments.
