The Wyss Foundation is pleased to announce a $700,000 grant to Public Private Strategies Institute, an independent research and education organization that brings together diverse public and private sector allies to solve pressing societal challenges.

The grant supports the Institute’s Small Business for America’s Future coalition, a nationwide organization of business owners that promote the voice of small businesses. The coalition works to ensure policymakers prioritize small businesses by advancing a just and equitable economic framework.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and Small Business for America’s Future is committed to amplifying their voices,” said Rhett Buttle, senior advisor for Small Business for America’s Future. “This grant is instrumental in helping us engage thousands of small business owners nationwide, ensuring their perspectives shape the future of Main Street. This work is critical in creating an economic framework that truly serves small businesses, their employees, and communities across America."

“Small businesses play a vital role in strengthening our nation’s economy and supporting working families,” said Wyss Foundation president Molly McUsic. “The Wyss Foundation is proud to support the Public Private Strategies Institute’s Small Business for America’s Future coalition and its efforts to ensure that policymakers do not overlook small businesses' unique needs and concerns.”
