Grant in the Spotlight: Campus SLB
The Wyss Foundation is proud to announce a 1,750,000 CHF (Swiss Franc) grant to support Campus SLB. Campus SLB improves treatment options and patient quality of life through its patient-centered research projects and clinical trials studies. The goal is to create comprehensive digital documentation of patients, including conservative and surgical interventions, and to learn from real world data for the future.
The grant from the Wyss Foundation is intended for clinical outcome spinal research with a focus on the elderly patient population. Consistent analysis of treatment options, actual treatment, treatment course, and treatment success will enable the development of evidence-based treatment algorithms for common and critical spine conditions.
“Campus SLB is very proud that Hansjörg Wyss shares this vision and generously supports it through his Wyss Foundation. Thus, clinical outcomes research in the field of spine surgery at the Bern site gains importance, especially for older patients with spine problems.” - Forschungscampus der Stiftung Lindenhof Bern, https://campusslb.ch/
