Michaela Jones

Public Lands Fellow, League of Conservation Voters Education Fund


Michaela serves as the Public Lands Fellow for the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, which promotes the protection of our public lands and waters. Michaela earned her bachelor's in Environmental Analysis and American Studies from Pitzer College. While in Southern California, she fell in love with the landscapes of the West and worked on various environmental advocacy and research projects related to warehouse development, port and supply chain climate resiliency, mushroom cultivation, and agricultural land loss mitigation. Originally from New England, Michaela credits her elementary school education on a farm in rural Vermont as the origin of her love for the outdoors. Nowadays, you can usually find her running, knitting, training her dog, or hiking.. She works to protect public lands and national monuments around the country through educating and mobilizing communities.
