The Wyss Foundation is proud to announce a $630,000 grant to support Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund. The Fund is a nonpartisan, nonprofit coalition working to promote a just and sustainable economy that works for everyone.

This grant will support Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund’s efforts to advance financial fairness and economic justice through transparency, accountability, and reform. The Fund will work to identify policy reforms that change economic outcomes and build a fairer economy for all, including through coalition-building and technical policy engagement.

“The rules governing the financial system have long been written by those with much to gain from the status quo,” says Lisa Donner, executive director of Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund. “This work supports greater public engagement to develop new rules that protect and support families, workers, and consumers – those who often lack a voice in the policies that impact their financial stability.”

“We are proud to support the advocacy of Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund in fighting for a fairer, more just economy that benefits everyone,” says Molly McUsic, president of the Wyss Foundation.
